NP Adams

            Born & raised in Houston, Tx NP Adams has never wanted to live anywhere else. She is married with two children, a silly great dane named Charlie, a feisty cat named George, & when she has free time, she raises monarch butterflies. She started her path in the medical field as a certified nurse aide, then a registered nurse, worked her way up to her master's degree in nursing as a nurse practitioner, & completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)-Advanced Practice Provider degree at the University of Texas in Austin. As a registered nurse NP Adams worked for the AMAZING acute spinal cord & brain injury rehabilitation hospital, & as a nurse practitioner, she has experience with primary care, patients with COVID-19, research trials, & as a clinical professor for a university's accelerated Bachelor of Nursing program. NP Adams continues to work in multiple areas & her next goal is to publish her recent research study.

           NP Adams is a firm believer that patients should be involved in their care & should have a treatment plan that fits their personal needs & goals instead of a "cookie-cutter" approach. Whether it's chronic conditions or simply weight loss goals, she believes that milestones should be created & celebrated. Her approach is to care for you as a healthcare provider, listen to your needs like a friend, & to be your cheerleader.
